Forms of Water

By: Josie Muscat

Tears of dripping rain,
Left behind and forgotten,
Pooling in sorrow,
Defeated and heart broken,
Lifeless, the puddle remains.

Drifting from the sky.

Twinkling before the sun,
Winter snow beauty.
A draped blanket on the hills.
Snowflakes bring life to chilled days.

Waves roar in anger,
Rolling with hatred inside,
Water churns fiercely,
Devouring boats with ease,
Waves flood with fury and rage.

Heart frozen and bent,
Piercing with evil beauty,
Glaring in the cold,
Icy fingers stretching down,
Frosty icicles hang cold.
