Drip, drip, drop, drop,

creeping down my window,

a pleasing lullaby,

easing me back to sleep.

Wandering in the clouds,

running into harsh winds,

flowers unfold to each drop,

kiss the leaves and tap the grass.

Bouncing off my umbrella,

splashing onto the road,

sliding down houses,

disappearing into the distance.

“Small and insignificant they say,

come and hug me I say.

Don’t sit around and wait for me to be gone,

come, come! Join me and dance!”
